I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education with a concentration in Sociology from Keuka College in 2000. I also received my Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University in May 2013.
I began my career as a learning support teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. I then went on to work as an emotional support teacher for Central Behavioral Health. While in this position I had the opportunity to work at a summer camp for students with Autism which led me to my next career as a functional academics teacher at the Pathway School. After starting a family, I transitioned to the Spring-Ford Area School District where I was an Autistic Support teacher for the last 9 years. This is my first year at Lafayette Elementary!
My family moved to Colorado this summer so I love exploring new places with my family and traveling. I also enjoy photography and taking pictures of all of our adventures!
I love getting to know my students and watching them grow throughout the year. I love celebrating their successes with them!
