M.Ed. from Antioch University New England; B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Colorado College

I have work in BVSD since 2005. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I taught outdoor education in a variety of settings. I love working at Lafayette!

I have been at Lafayette Elementary since 2009. I have taught 1 year in 3rd Grade, 2 years in 4th Grade and I have taught 1st Grade since 2012.

I enjoy spending time in the outdoors hiking, camping, skiing and gardening with my daughter, husband and 2 dogs. I love seeing live music especially bluegrass and folk music. You can often find me reading a good book, playing make-believe with my daughter, shopping at the farmer's market, running or doing yoga.

I love building relationships with students and families. It is an honor to watch each child grow as an individual and become a part of our classroom and school community. It is my goal to make learning fun, engaging and meaningful.
