Casey Morsberger

    Special Education; Resource

    Educational Background:

I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2014 where I received a dual degree in Special Education and General Elementary Education.

Upon graduating, I moved back home to Maryland where I spent my first year teaching special education in Howard County. I moved to Colorado in July 2015 and spent my first year teaching in BVSD at Fireside Elementary. I'm ecstatic to begin my third year at Lafayette! This is my first year teaching at Lafayette and I will be a Special Education Resource teacher.

    Hobbies & personal interests:

I enjoy hiking with my yellow lab, Duncan, when the weather is nice. There are so many great trails nearby! My favorite hiking trails are in the Rocky Mountain National Park. This summer, I've also gotten into photography and calligraphy as creative outlets. The National Park has so many great views that I wanted to capture to share with my friends and family back in Maryland.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Working as a teacher, I enjoy interacting with students and watching them grow as learners! It makes me so happy to see students become more confident in themselves and meet their goals.
